As owner, president and CEO of Third Force Educational Solutions LLC. Dr. Byrd brings leadership and expertise in educational consultation, leadership development, and guest speaking, as well as a series of books. His role indicates a direct influence on the company’s services and overall direction in providing solutions for K-12 and Higher Educational Leaders. In addition to being a business owner he serves the Suffolk Public School Community in the role of Chief of Schools and is responsible for the supervision of the Department of School Leadership and Innovation including the supervision of the division’s schools and school leaders. Dr. Byrd is also an adjunct professor at Old Dominion University and Facilitates a Professional Development Network comprised of Region 2 Chiefs, and others division leaders, who are tasked with principal supervision, extending the superintendent’s vision, developing future leaders, and improving climate and culture within schools.
