Terms of Use: The Ground Rules

Welcome to the digital home of “Leadership Lessons from a Terrible Golfer.” By accessing this site, you’re agreeing to play by the rules—much like keeping an honest scorecard, even when you’ve spent more time in the sand than on the green.

1. Intellectual Property (The “No Mulligans” Rule)

All content on this site—including stories of missed putts, leadership frameworks, and the logical structures derived from my days as a math major at Norfolk State—is the property of Dr. Stenette Byrd III and Third Force Solutions. * You are welcome to share links and discuss these lessons.

  • You may not copy, redistribute, or sell this content as your own. Just like in golf, please don’t claim a birdie when you actually took a double bogey.

2. Not Professional Advice (The “Caddie” Disclaimer)

While I have navigated the complexities of being a Chief of Schools and have a deep love for logical systems, the content here is for educational and entertainment purposes.

  • Reading these stories won’t magically drop your handicap to a 5, nor does it guarantee an immediate promotion.
  • Leadership, like a 20-handicap golf game, requires individual practice, patience, and the occasional realization that your “form” might need a professional adjustment beyond what a book can provide.

3. Community Standards (The “Clubhouse Etiquette”)

We value the perspective of every leader. We ask that all interactions on this site remain professional and respectful.

  • No “trash talk” that crosses the line into harassment.

  • Keep the dialogue constructive. We’re all trying to break 90 in our respective fields.

4. Limitation of Liability

Third Force Solutions is not responsible for any broken drivers, bruised egos, or organizational “hooks and slices” that occur while you are implementing these leadership lessons. Use the logic and structure provided at your own discretion.

5. Updates to Terms

Just as the USGA occasionally updates the rules of the game, I reserve the right to update these terms. Check back periodically to ensure you’re still playing within the lines.
